Hamas hands over body of slain Israeli hostage to Israel; verification pending

Israel has received, via the Red Cross, the coffin of a fallen hostage from Hamas’ military wing. The coffin was handed over to IDF and Shin Bet personnel inside the Gaza Strip and will be transferred to Israel’s National Center of Forensic Medicine. Once the identification process is complete, the family will be formally notified.
