Gaza resident tells Kan News: Corruption in aid groups, Hamas takes everything
A resident of Gaza told Kan News that corruption within aid organizations has allowed Hamas to seize humanitarian supplies, as a black market has emerged in recent weeks with extremely high prices for essential goods.
According to testimonies obtained Tuesday, Hamas has been looting tents meant to protect civilians from winter conditions and reselling them at inflated prices. The reports claim this is happening with the acquiescence of some international organizations, amid broader accusations that Israel is obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
