Gaza receives 600 aid trucks, 70,000 m³ of water daily, COGAT reports on World Humanitarian Day

Marking World Humanitarian Day on Wednesday, COGAT released an updated overview of aid entering the Gaza Strip.

According to the data, 600 aid trucks enter the Gaza Strip every day, with 70-80% carrying food. This has resulted in more than 2 million tons of food entering the Strip since October 2025 and a 72% drop in local food prices.

“Humanitarian aid flows into Gaza every single day, containing enough food, medical, and WASH supplies to support the Gazan civilian population,” the statement said.

Gaza also continues to receive more than 70,000 cubic meters of water per day, through four currently operating water lines and two desalination plants, with more than 250 water trucks operating daily at 2,800 distribution points.
