Gal Gadot returns to Israel to vote, urges Israelis to exercise democratic right
Thousands of Israelis living abroad returned to Israel to vote in today’s election, including actress Gal Gadot, best known for her role as Wonder Woman.
“That’s it, I’m exercising my right to vote, and I ask all of you to go out and exercise your most basic, most important, the most democratic right, and to vote for who you believe in,” Godot said in a recording she posted on Instagram.
“I’m voting for change, and I hope that today, Tuesday, paamayim ki tov (Tuesdays are traditionally viewed in Jewish culture as a lucky day) that it will only be good for us all,” she said while blowing a kiss at the camera.
Israeli polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.
