Fragments from Iranian missile interception fall near Eilat after attack targeting Jordan

Fragments from an interceptor missile were found near the southern city of Eilat, the IDF stated, after the Iranian regime launched four ballistic missiles at the Kingdom of Jordan.

The Jordanian military said it intercepted three of the missiles, which apparently targeted Aqaba, which lies adjacent to Eilat on the Jordanian side. Another missile fell in a "remote" region and the attack concluded without casualties or damage, the military said.

The Israeli military announced that "several interceptors were launched toward missile debris in order to prevent debris impact within Israeli territory. As a result, interceptor fragments were identified in an open area near the city of Eilat. No damage or injuries were reported."

"No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol. The incident has concluded. There is no change to the Home Front Command's guidelines," the IDF added.
