Former IDF Personnel Chief: “Revoke voting rights from anyone who doesn’t enlist”
Former IDF Manpower Directorate chief, Maj. Gen. (res.) Moti Almoz, sharply criticized the current draft proposal and called for revoking voting rights from Haredim who refuse to enlist in the Israel Defense Forces. Almoz argued that the situation has become untenable, saying, “They’re fooling us.” He emphasized the need for a significant policy shift to ensure equal burden-sharing and to protect the resilience of Israeli society.
