FM Sa’ar hosts Honduran ministers, hails strengthening ties with Latin America
Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar hosted Honduran Defense Minister Enrique Rodríguez Burchard and Security Minister Gerzón Velásquez Aguilera at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, describing the visit as an important step toward expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Sa’ar praised the administration of the Honduran president on X, saying, “The presidency of Tito Asfura marks a stage of strengthening the ties, cooperation, and friendship between our countries.”
He also expressed gratitude for Honduras’ designation of Hamas and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as terrorist organizations.
“We will continue to strengthen our ties with the countries of Latin America,” he added.
