Five Israelis wounded in massive Hamas rocket barrage on central Israel
Five Israelis were wounded in what is reportedly the largest rocket barrage fired from Gaza toward central Israel during the Israel-Hamas war so far.
Sirens sounded throughout central Israel on Tuesday afternoon, including the greater Tel Aviv area, Holon, Kfar Saba, Rishon Letzion, and Yavne. Two Israelis were wounded by shrapnel and three others were injured running to a shelter.
Earlier in the day, Hamas had fired two more rocket barrages at central Israel, activating sirens in Ramle, Lod, and towns along the Judean foothills.
One rocket hit a house in the settlement of Alfei Menashe in Samaria, located near Kfar Saba but located over the Green Line. The residents were only lightly injured as they were in the safety room in their home at the time.
