Five IDF soldiers wounded by Hezbollah drone attack despite 'ceasefire'

Five IDF soldiers were wounded, including one who is in serious condition, when Hezbollah fired explosive drones at them in southern Lebanon, amid ongoing attacks by the terror group despite the ostensible ceasefire.

"Earlier today (Wednesday), an IDF soldier was severely injured, two IDF soldiers were moderately injured, and two additional soldiers were lightly injured as a result of an explosive drone impact in southern Lebanon," the IDF stated.

According to Army Radio, the attack included two drones. The first exploded near a tank of the Givati Brigade Combat Team in the area of the village of Tebnit, wounding four soldiers with shrapnel.

Shortly afterward, another drone hit a vehicle involved in the evacuation of the four soldiers, wounding another soldier. IDF forces responded by striking terrorist infrastructure in the area with artillery fire, the report said.
