Explosions from Iranian missile interceptions in Jordan heard in Eilat - no impacts in Israel
There were no impacts of missiles or debris in Israeli territory, Channel 12 News clarified after residents of Eilat reported hearing strong explosions caused by Iranian missile attacks in Jordan.
According to the report, the Iranian missiles were aimed at targets in Jordan and were successfully intercepted by the U.S. military.
Large dust clouds shown in footage circulating online were caused by debris falling in Jordanian territory, near the Israeli border, Channel 12 added.
