'Does France get its info from Hezbollah?' Huckabee defends Israel against French accusations
U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, strongly rebuked French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, who had called on the U.S. to apply "all necessary pressure" to get Israel to stop its military actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon after the terror group killed four IDF soldiers overnight.
"French FM said Israel needs to stop strikes on Hezbollah. Does France get all its info from Hezbollah? Last night, Israel had 4 of its soldiers killed," Huckabee wrote on X.
"Israel strikes when struck as [Ambassador Leiter] brings FACTS. Ceasefire happens when Hezbollah stops shooting & killing," he added while responding to a post by Israeli Ambassador, Yehiel Leiter, which listed the near-hourly attacks from Hezbollah in recent days.
