Israeli Deni Avdija dominates in Portland vs. Utah, named Player of the Week
Israeli basketballer Deni Avdija led Portland to a dominant 137–117 win over Utah last night, three-game win streak. The Israeli forward scored 33 points, along with 8 rebounds in three quarters, narrowly missing a second consecutive triple-double. This comes as Avdija was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Week, marking a major milestone in his career.
Avdija is now Israel’s leading NBA scorer of all time, emerging as a strong All-Star candidate and contender for Most Improved Player of the Year.
