Defense Minister orders IDF to expand counterterror operations in Judea & Samaria
Following a series of Palestinian terror attacks in recent days, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced he ordered the Israeli military to "expand its offensive operations against Palestinian terrorism, which is attempting to reemerge."
The Israel Defense Forces was ordered "to prepare to take control of another refugee camp, following the model used in the terrorist camps of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams, which were evacuated of residents, cleared of terrorist infrastructure, and where the IDF now maintains a permanent presence," Katz's office stated.
