Concern in Lebanon: Syria could back Israel on front against Hezbollah
Syrian President al-Sharaa said his forces have not forgotten their revenge against Hezbollah, according to Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is affiliated with Hezbollah. The remarks reportedly came during a closed-door meeting with senior members of a jihadist organization in Syria, raising concern among Lebanese officials about a potential front with Syria if the U.S. attacks Iran, which could escalate into a broader regional conflict.
