Border Police stop suspect in stolen car, find IED
Border Police operating in Judea and Samaria overnight identified a vehicle attempting to evade a police checkpoint.
The incident happened near a spring where bathers were present.
After pursuing the suspect, a 20-year-old Palestinian from the Ramallah area, police stopped him and searched his car.
During the search, police discovered the car was stolen. They also found an improvised explosive device along with bags containing gunpowder.
The suspect was taken in for questioning by security personnel and transferred to prison.
