Around 1,000 Israelis protest 'abandonment' of northern city Kiryat Shmona by gov't
Around 1,000 people gathered at the entrance of Kiryat Shmona on Tuesday morning to demonstrate against what they perceive the government's "abandonment" of the largest city in the northern Galilee.
The protest organizer, Shiran Dahan, told the crowd, ”We are tired of promises. We want solutions,” according to the Times of Israel.
The protesters claimed that around 40% of the city’s residents haven't returned home after being evacuated due to Hezbollah's rocket attacks that started on October 8, 2023.
