Palestinian killed during raid, exchange of fire with IDF in Samaria
A Palestinian man was killed during an exchange of fire between Palestinians and Israel Defense Forces in the Palestinian town of ‘Aqaba in Samaria on Friday morning.
The IDF confirmed that its forces hit an armed Palestinian.
A video uploaded to social media showed masked terrorists outside a building in Aqaba chanting and firing into the air in front of a crowd of supporters.
Shortly after the release of the footage, IDF soldiers reportedly entered the village to apprehend the subjects, who barricaded themselves in the building and exchanged fire with the Israeli troops.
Israeli troops found military equipment, a handgun, and two improvised explosive devices, the army said and added that two wanted Palestinians were arrested elsewhere in the town.
The suspects are believed to have been preparing for a terror attack.
