Amid recent deaths, flu vaccination rates surge in Israel
After more than 30 children and infants required intensive care — and three died from the virus despite having no underlying conditions — the Health Ministry is urging the public to get vaccinated. Vaccination rates remain low, similar to recent years, but several health funds report a surge in demand in recent days, with increases of dozens of percentage points.
