Amid Iran tensions: IDF stresses it is ready for anything, no change in security guidelines
As on previous weekends, IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Effie Defrin addressed the Israeli public with a message of calm assurance amid ongoing tensions with Iran and speculation about a possible strike against Israel by the regime.
"As in previous weeks, I would like to emphasize: IDF forces are deployed both in defense and offense along all of the country’s borders. There is no change in the directives, and we will know to update if any change is required. I will continue to update you on any development," Defrin said.
"Last week, the IDF continued to operate on all fronts, in defense and offense – and in strengthening operational capabilities to safeguard the security of Israeli civilians," he said, wishing the people of Israel, "Shabbat Shalom and a quiet Shabbat."
