Amb. Gilad Erdan requests UN Security Council to convene to discuss the Iranian attack
Israel's Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan appealed to the president of the UN Security Council and demanded an urgent meeting following the Iranian attack on Israel. Erdan demanded condemnation of the attack and the declaration of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization. Ambassador Erdan said: "Iran's attack constitutes a significant threat to world peace and security. Iran even bragged about the attack, which is a serious and dangerous escalation."
