After repeated Hezbollah attacks, IDF orders additional evacuations in southern Lebanon
Following repeated ceasefire violations by Hezbollah, including another thwarted drone strike earlier today, the IDF announced additinonal evacuations of 16 villages and towns in southern Lebanon ahead of planned airstrikes against Hezbollah there.
The warning covered an area south of the Litani River but north of the ceasefire line, that had already been under a blanket evacuation warning.
“In light of the Hezbollah terror group’s violations of the ceasefire agreement, the IDF is compelled to act against it with force,” IDF Arabic spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee announced, calling on civilians to head to the Sidon area on the coast.
