After internal elections, Hamas set to announce next leader
Hamas is expected to name its next leader during Ramadan, Saudi outlet Asharq reported, after concluding internal elections.
The final contenders are Khalil al-Hayya and Khaled Meshaal, with the winner set to replace the temporary leadership council formed after Yahya Sinwar’s killing.
