After alarms sound in north, videos show Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon
Following siren alerts on Israel’s northern border on Sunday morning, the Israeli Air Force responded by striking several sites in southern Lebanon.
According to reports from Lebanese media, the Hezbollah terrorist group took credit for firing on Israeli sites.
Videos posted to social media showed explosions near the town of Yaroun in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has been active in the area in recent weeks.
Reports from Beirut said that Israeli F-16 fighter jets were seen flying over the city.
The IDF has not yet commented on the airstrikes.
