84-year-old Elma Avraham still in serious condition after being released by Hamas terrorists
Elma Avraham (84), who was kidnapped from Israel by Hamas on Oct. 7 and released from captivity in Gaza on Sunday, is still being hospitalized in serious condition.
"The condition of the freed Elma Avraham is serious but are beginning to see a small glimmer of light of a slight improvement," Dr. Dan Schwartz, deputy director of Soroka Medical Center told Radio Kol Barama.
"They are working hard to stabilize her condition which was critical. She had very low indices and body temperature. The lowest I've seen in my career."
Avraham was taken directly to Soroka Medical Center by helicopter after being transported to the Israeli border on Sunday evening.
