2,500 Hamas terrorists participated in brutal raid, 1,500 of them were killed, IDF says
Approximately 2,500 Hamas terrorists took part in the surprise attack against Israeli settlements along the Gaza border on Saturday, IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Daniel Hagari confirmed in a statement.
Of those, about 1,500 have been killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza border area, while the rest managed to escape back to the Gaza Strip.
Hagari added that Hamas terrorists are still trying to enter Israel, some of them by sea.
