1 killed, 8 injured in direct Hezbollah missile strike on Safed
One Israeli was killed and eight injured from a missile launched by Hezbollah forces that directly struck the northern city of Safed.
Emergency responders treated the victims at the scene before evacuating them to Ziv Medical Center in the city.
One woman was found dead in the damaged building.
Of the wounded, one is in serious condition, one moderate and six mildly injured. All are reportedly fully conscious.
The missile barrage targeting northern Israel also struck the Israel Defense Forces bases located in Safed and Meron.
This rocket barrage is considered the most serious incident since the outbreak of the war in Israel's northern sector.
