Huckabee: Hamas war is heaven vs. hell – good vs. evil

Never one to mince words, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee is a pro at calling balls and strikes. Not missing yet another opportunity, he properly defined the present war between Israel and Hamas, saying that it’s so much more than “a political or military confrontation.” (IsraelRealtime.com, Sept. 7, 2025)

Would that the entire world possess that kind of needed clarity, able to see and differentiate the profound evil of October 7, from the moral right Israel carried out when protecting her people.

Sadly, we are living at a time in history when people have become cynical and jaded enough to confuse good with evil and vice versa. By doing so, they are able to redefine norms, accepted societal mores and even eviscerate the order which makes up our established laws.

For a while now, we have been witnessing a breakdown of the system that relied upon checks and balances, based upon the moral code of the Ten Commandments. It’s how we know that murder is wrong and stealing is a sin against our fellow man.

All of the violations, recorded in those two tablets, became our standard of judgment, used by every nation and every tongue. We instinctively knew that breaking these laws would require punishment as they breached a barrier which was meant to be protected.

Today, some would have us believe that crimes such as rape, murder, torture, dismemberment and beheadings are all warranted and justified “when fighting an oppressor who has stolen land from its rightful indigenous people.”

But in this battle of good vs. evil, claims can be invented to whitewash the hell that an enemy has unleashed upon those they hate. For example, Jews, the inventors of wonder drugs, cutting-edge technology and everyday life-enhancing devices are now characterized as evildoers.

Imagine that! Israel, the world’s first responder, when it comes to natural disasters, is suddenly being accused of genocide and deliberate targeting of innocent civilians. How is it possible to go from rushing to set up field hospitals to being likened to Hitler? It’s enough to make your head spin!

And while it’s easy to comprehend the ugly and vicious accusations that are constantly hurled against us, by dishonest and immoral barbarians, it’s hard to fathom that our global media is corrupt enough to further disseminate the lies and fraud then regurgitated by unethical reporters, all for the sake of clicks.

We’ve gotten to the point where trying to find honest newsmakers is as rare as the quest of Diogenes, the Greek philosopher who carried a lantern throughout Athens in his search of one honest soul.

The loss of virtue, integrity and honor – all expected hallmarks of those committed to honestly inform us of what is happening in our world, has not only injured their credibility but also the collective conscience of humanity. No longer able to precisely measure right from wrong, we have become easy prey for master manipulators who have rewritten the rules.

Uninspired by the ultimate Lawgiver, who entrusted His moral code to Moses, the perfect blueprint for mankind, has been hijacked by perpetrators of terror. Theirs is a commitment to the anguish of hell rather than the heavenly bliss intended for us by our Creator.

This is the stark difference, recognized by U.S. Ambassador Huckabee, who is still able to distinguish the evil confronting Israel, by way of monstrous, savage terrorists, devoid of all morality and a working conscience. Huckabee has called out what he perceives to be the greatest depths of depravity known to man, by way of the horrific human violations, committed on that fateful Saturday morning.

And while he has the courage to do so, the truth is that each person, with a beating heart, should not struggle over what constitutes a solid moral foundation. Premeditated murder, the likes of which was demonstrated on October 7, is not a difficult judgment call.

When the intention is to annihilate every inhabitant of the State of Israel, an honest world would have to admit that a true genocide is the goal. Nothing can justify its execution - not even a fabricated version of historical land ownership.

But why would we expect a dishonest and disinterested world to recognize and call out genocide when they’ve ignored it on so many occasions, in multiple places throughout the world?

Here is where the battle between good and evil becomes most pronounced.  Genocide is only shouted when Jews are involved in the fray. Muslims killing other Muslims never seem to garner world attention or the collective tears of humanity.

Those are only reserved for the people who have been designated as the victims of Jewish aggression. Oddly enough, despite the loud global outcries, no one is troubled enough to offer a better alternative to the same people they define as disenfranchised victims.

The world leaders, who castigate Israel, calling us the war criminals, for the crime of defending ourselves, refuse to come to the rescue of the people they claim we are slaughtering. Where is their true empathy? Nowhere to be found!

This is nothing more than a transparent game, repeated throughout every generation, where Jew hatred, once again, resurfaces in one form or another. While the victims may vary, the guilty players remain the same. It is simply a recycled attempt at pinning the blame on Jews, with only one difference. We now have a Jewish homeland, a useful tool for the absorption of collective guilt.

Throw everything at the nation, and see what sticks. When enough sins and crimes add up, then bring the Jewish people to judgment. It’s so much more convenient rather than trying to implicate pockets of Jews who have been scattered to every corner of the earth.

As a student of the bible and Jewish history, Ambassador Huckabee can see right through this flimsy stratagem, because it’s been recorded countless times, throughout the scriptures. It is the reason he refers to it as a spiritual battle, understanding that the likes of Haman have been resurrected to new life under the names of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.

Moses brought forth the moral code, given to us by the Almighty, meant to be the ultimate arbiter for humanity in their ability to rightly identify good from evil.  How fortunate for Israel that Ambassador Huckabee has no difficulty calling out the stark contrasts of each.
