Anti-reform protests continue into 33rd straight week across Israel
Protests against the government’s judicial reform entered their 33rd straight week on Saturday evening, as tens of thousands demonstrated in dozens of towns and road junctions across Israel.
The central demonstration at Tel Aviv’s Kaplan Street began with a moment of silence for the two victims who were murdered just hours before in a terrorist shooting attack in the West Bank town of Huwara.
The demonstration at Kaplan Street was opened by Israeli Eurovision Song Contest Winner Netta Barzilai's rendition of “Hatikva,” Israel’s national anthem.
