Did you know one of the most important declarations in Scripture is written on the doorposts of Jewish homes across Israel?

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.”

The Shema has endured for thousands of years. Written on parchment inside the mezuzah, these words are placed on the doorposts of Jewish homes as a daily reminder to love God, remember His faithfulness, and teach His Word to the next generation.
In this week’s Prayer Points, we pray for the people living behind those doorposts—for protection over families, peace in Israeli homes, and hearts that would hear the voice of the God of Israel.
We also pray for a generation growing up amid war and uncertainty, that they would not be defined by fear, but would come to know and love the God of Israel with all their heart, soul, and strength.
