Join All Israel News correspondent Oriel Moran at a remarkable 1,300-year-old archaeological site in Ramat Gan.
This unique early Islamic-period industrial and commercial center (late 7th/8th–9th century AD) sits near the ancient road between Jaffa and Jerusalem — yet it was never attached to a city or village. Archaeologists uncovered a street lined with shops or storage rooms, pottery kilns, and later residential remains from the 10th–11th centuries.
In just a short time the site will be carefully covered and a bus depot built over it. Walk the ancient street with Oriel before it disappears from view again.
