Near Israel’s Banias Nature Reserve, an ancient church scarred by war and vandalism still stands — a symbol of faith that refused to fall.

Now, a group of volunteers calling themselves the “Guardians of the Church” — Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Druze — have come together to restore and protect this historic place.

As they rebuild the walls and clean the ruins, they also rebuild something deeper — hope and unity between communities.
