A rare natural treasure has been uncovered — completely by accident.

During excavation work for a new road in Samaria, workers discovered two previously unknown stalactite caves, revealing a hidden world deep beneath the surface. The caves, filled with delicate and ancient formations, are now being documented for the first time.

Reporter Alon Sharvit descended into the depths of the earth to bring exclusive footage from inside the caves, which are now facing a potential threat of destruction due to the construction plans.
