Today we stand in Nazareth—the town where God sent the angel Gabriel to announce the coming of the Messiah. Here, Scripture first declared Immanuel—God with us.

As Israel continues to walk through war, grief, and uncertainty, we pause to pray—for God’s nearness, for peace and reconciliation, and for His will in the year ahead. From the streets where Jesus grew up, we are reminded of an unshakable truth:
The light still shines, and the darkness has not overcome it.
