A historic moment of courage and reconciliation. A delegation of Muslim imams and community leaders from Europe visited Israel and Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial to honor the 6 million Jewish victims and send a clear message: Islam is not terrorism, and peace is possible.

Led by Imam Hassan Chalgoumi and organized by ELNET, the group lit the eternal flame, recited Islamic prayers, and stood side by side with Jewish leaders. They also visited Israeli officials, survivors of the October 7 Hamas attacks, and victims’ families.

Their message is bold: a call for brotherhood, justice, and an end to hate — even at great personal cost.
