Following the elimination of key figures — including Ali Larijani and the Basij commander — another major figure has now been taken out:
Iran’s Intelligence Minister, considered a close confidant of the new power center around Mojtaba Khamenei.

At the same time, strategic targets — including major energy infrastructure — have come under attack, raising the stakes even higher.
