Eliyahu Margalit, known lovingly as “Churchill,” has finally returned home to Israel.

A devoted farmer from Kibbutz Nir Oz, Eliyahu was a man deeply connected to the land he worked and loved. On the morning of October 7, as he tended to his horses in the stables, he was abducted by Hamas.

Now, after months of waiting and heartbreak, Eliyahu has been brought back to rest in the soil of Nir Oz — the place he cherished most.
