Ben Mizrahi, a lone soldier from Canada, made the brave decision to move to Israel at age 18 and join the IDF Paratroopers. He lived at Kibbutz Yavne, where he found both purpose and community. On October 7th, at the Nova music festival, Ben stood out once more — helping rescue others, treating the wounded, and fighting back — until he was tragically killed during the Hamas massacre.
But Ben’s story doesn’t end there.
In an extraordinary act of love and courage, his parents chose to continue his journey. They left everything behind in Canada, made Aliyah, and settled in the very kibbutz their son called home, keeping his dream alive in the land he died protecting.
