From Mourning to Miracles: Tisha B’Av - Israel’s Darkest Day… and a Prophetic Hope

Did you know this week marked the saddest day on the Jewish calendar?
Tisha B’Av is a day of fasting and mourning, remembering the destruction of both the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem—along with many of the greatest tragedies in Jewish history.
Yet, this is not the end of the story.
From the words of the prophet Joel to the promises in Zechariah, the Bible reveals a powerful truth: God restores what was lost, strengthens His people, and remains faithful to His covenant.
As Israel continues to face uncertainty, we are reminded of David Ben-Gurion’s words: “In Israel, to be a realist, you must believe in miracles.”
Join us this week as we pray for restoration, courage, and hope—for Israel and for the fulfillment of God’s promises.
