This will be the fifth in my series of novels about former Secret Service agent Marcus Ryker
As much as I loved traveling across the United States for the last six weeks of 2021, I have to say I’m jazzed to be back home in Jerusalem, hard at work on my next novel.
Don’t get me wrong. It was great giving speeches and doing radio and TV interviews about my non-fiction book, "Enemies and Allies: An Unforgettable Journey inside the Fast-Moving & Immensely Turbulent Modern Middle East."
Plus, I had many meetings and meals with key leaders in business, government, the media and the Evangelical community.
Even dinner at Mar-a-Lago and a conversation with former President Donald J. Trump.
Along the way, I picked up a lot of useful insights and tidbits that I’ll be working into my columns this year.
But first and foremost, I’m a novelist.
